Permit Residency Question

Here the question you have a permit residency by a marriage. You divorce that person and now another marriage to Brazilian woman. During that time it was many months the divorce is not been reported. How would the second marriage effect this permit residency. Would you have to reapply how would the Federal Police view the fact the first one wasn’t reported. Just do nothing and get remarried. This get. Complicated my friend is in this position 😵‍💫

01/19/26  @NewBrazil  I doubt that your friend has a problem, or needs to report anything to the PF.  If the divorce and the re-marriage were both processed in a cartório then both are on the official record.  If your friend at some point has to renew his CRNM, he'll show the new marriage on the application and the answer to any question is just that he was divorced and remarried.

Thanks for your response my friend was over 65 when they got the permit residency so no renewals needed.
