Buzios looking for expat to show us around

Hello fellow ex-pats I am an American my husband is Italian we live in Florida and in Venice Italy. We are coming to Buzios for 2 weeks in March we would love to meet a fellow American or Italian living there that can show us around. We would reciprocate with a tour and do the same for you in Florida or Venice Italy otherwise we would be happy to pay you for your time. We are thinking of purchasing in that area so we would like to have a hands-on idea of life there. If anyone has any tips or can help us we would appreciate it we are still looking for accommodations during that time we would be there March 5th until the 20th if you know of any very clean and nice places to stay that are inexpensive thank you and have a wonderful day Denise and Maurizio

Hello Denise Marie,

On behalf of the entire Expat-blog Team, welcome on board. I'm sure you will find your experience here both enjoyable and informative.

I live in Macaé, about three hours by road north of Buzios. While I'm sure you will meet a number of Americans and Italians while you are there (the town has a large expat population) I don't recall seeing any of our active members who live there or I would have most certainly have them included in my contact circle.

I hope you get some response to your posting here. Please let me know how you make out on that score closer to your travel date.
