Marmite or Vegemite in Rio?

It may have been asked before but can you buy either marmite or Vegemite in Brazil? Can you online order here? I am anticipating people screwing up their noses at such a suggestion but my son loves the stuff on dry crackers and he is a very fussy eater. Or anything equivalent in the supermarket?

Hi Marisa,

If you're looking for Vegemite or Marmite you should check out the Mercado Central (don't know where it's located in Rio, but they have one) if you can't find it there then look for a Pão de Açúcar supermarket. They have quite a selection of imported foods and may have one or the other.

Yes, now you can find Marmite or Vegemite ... or quite the same ...  being very similar, with the name of Cenovit.
And not in Rio ... but not so far, being in São Paulo.

You can buy CenoVit, very similar to Marmite ou Vegemite, directly with the producer in São Paulo by the WhatsApp *** with Patrick.
