Have you relocated internationally recently?

I’d love to hear about your experience!

I’m exploring what settling into a new country is really like, beyond the practicalities of the move. Things like finding your feet at work, rebuilding routines and networks, supporting your family, and eventually starting to feel at home.

I’m looking for people who have relocated internationally in the last 1–3 years and would be happy to have a relaxed 20–30 minute chat with me about their experience.

I’m particularly interested in what was harder than expected, what helped, and what you wish you’d had more support with.

This isn’t a sales call — I’m simply listening and learning at this stage.

If you’d be happy to chat, please post below. I’d really appreciate it!

Everyone has different reactions and different experiences. For those who have to learn a foreign language to cope, it's harder than it is for a speaker of the same language. When it comes to food, it's a matter of what you like along with what suits your body.

Emotionally, some can take the new place with ease, but others absolutely hate it and just want out.

The best way of learning is "Suck it and see".

I agree Fred! I am keen to hear if anyone has received support for the relocation - either for the practical stuff or for the emotional side of things.
