Finding a franchise in Florida

gaylewallner

Hello ,

I ve been given the E2 visa this summer of 2023 .

I have been a snowbird in Florida for the last 6 years with my B2 Visa before .. which is still valid .

So I have been living in between Germany and Florida for 6 months of a year in each home respectively last 6 years .

I managed to get my E2 visa after investing a huge amount of money into buying / renting and flipping 8 homes last 6 years in Florida and hiring  regular property manager & contractors from the same companies , what the US embassy wanted to see as proof etc etc on top of the proofs of homes purchased / sold etc etc .

My E2 is for 2 years and I was advised to look into investing into a franchise that would benefit the visa extension when it is time for the visa renewal  in 2 years time .

I am just not sure if the franchise must be associated with a property  / real estate or if I can look into a different category of franchise investments .

I already have my Florida s driver s license last few years but I was also advised to apply for the social security number now that I am eligible to apply , from my experience living as a snowbird in Florida , having a social security number would be advisable .

Yes ,  Florida is full of scammers . Some of my senior neighbours were badly scammed ! Anyone has advise for a sound franchise investment in my situation ?

Thank you .

Gayle
