Hi All,

My name is Valerie and I'm a Regional Recruitment Director from Malaysia but will eventually be moving to Georgia, USA. I'm currently waiting on my Alien Relative Petition to be approved by the USA Government before moving to the USA legally and taking the next steps. My husband is American and he is currently living in Macon, GA and we're trying to figure out the proper procedure and documentation needed in order to make my move to the USA a smooth one. We would appreciate any tips and tricks that will speed up the process of course.

I'm looking to make new friends from the USA, preferably lighthearted individuals or couples around Macon, Atlanta and Georgia.

There are no "tricks" when it comes to migration. You find the process, soup to nuts or forms to fees, on uscis.gov including processing times.
Double and triple check your petitions and attachments, copy everything.

Macon is a college town. Lots going on for the younger crowd and close enough to Atlanta or Florida beaches for a weekend.

Yeah, that's what my Hubby mentioned too. He also mentioned that I would really like Atlanta esp. for shopping and exploring Coca-Cola and all.
