Assisted Living in Nuevo/Puerto Vallarta MX

Have you considered hiring someone to come into take care of her?

Finding assisted living services in Mexico are extremely rare and if any, most likely very expensive. The best bet is to hire a certified nurse who is willing to work for you exclusively.
I’m in my 70’s and I have made this kind of arrangement planning ahead.  Nurses typically are not well paid in Mexico and the work schedules are demanding and exhausting. A good nurse would be grateful to have a steady, less stressful and well paid job with a single patient/client, in my opinion.

Good idea. Make sure the references are valid and not their friends'. I might even use an employement agency in this case. You have to pay their IMMS pension etc. An accountant can do the setup for you. She will be happier, I suspect, and the cost will be probably less. Good luck. It is a common way to care for the elderly here than care homes, in general,  I feel.

Ask the primary care physician if they have recommendations.

I'm a retired Registered Nurse, and that's where I would start the search.
