Visa rejected-British citizen

Mu_a7

Hi, I am a British citizen born and bread in the UK. I came to the UAE to teach, however my visa has been rejected due to security reasons. I don't understand why? I've not done anything wrong here or back at home. I have no criminal record, I am a teacher and my CRB is clear back home. So I've no idea what's happend or what to do now. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Could be anything really.  Case of mistaken identity, social media profile being anti government, your religious affiliations or social associations, visits or stays in states like Israel etc.   I don't think anyone here can tell you why.

The best bet is to have your sponsor follow up with immigration and try to appeal it.
