Help with Remote Worker Visa

gracjanski

Hello expats,

I am still in the planning process of moving to Abu Dhabi and informed myself through ChatGPT and Perplexity.

I have troubles in getting help with some questions about the Remote Worker Visa for Abu Dhabi (prefer it to Dubai, because the living costs are lower and somehow I liked it more when I visited Emirates few years ago). So I wrote emails to contactus@icp.gov.ae and contact@tamm.abudhabi later, but get no answer. Do you have experience with these authorities?

I know the process is maybe not that complicated and I could do the whole application by myself, but sometimes you have questions and it is important, that I can live in Emirates instead of Australia, which is my plan b. So I thought about agencies to help you through the process. So far I ve found Emirates Setup and Metropolitan, that may do that. Do you know some other agencies, that can help you? Y-Axis looks interesting too, I will contact them later.

For example my biggest question is: I am still working as an employee but will stop it soon and I will start to work remotely after leaving Europe. My last salaries are clearly above 3500 Dollar a month (more than 10.000 € a month before taxes), I am staying in the same profession and I organized a contract, that predict a salary on the same level more or less. So you understand, my uncertainty: I am not working remotely yet, but will after moving to Emirates.
