Tips for a newcomer: settling in Istanbul with a campervan?

Merhaba! Moving to Istanbul this autumn and plan to travel around the Marmara region on weekends with a small campervan. Advice on coastal camping spots, long-term parking in the city and vehicle registration for a foreigner is very welcome. Tesekkurler!

Unfortunately, I do not have any tips to share, but I just wanted to say that I really like your idea of exploring the region in a campervan! 😊
