   You can join to this forum, They are mostly Briths that live in Turkey for years and tears, they are very very helpfull and you can get tons of information from them,

Hi everyone! 👋

My husband and I moved to Istanbul a year and two months ago, and while we’ve been here for a while and have done quite a bit of touristy activities, we still feel a bit disconnected socially. The truth is, our work schedules haven’t made it easy: he works from 9 am to 6 pm, and I work from 4 pm to midnight, which makes it hard to meet people or plan activities.

But this year  we’re determined to change that and start enjoying everything this amazing city has to offer. We’d love to meet new people, make friends, and find fun things to do on our days off, especially on weekends.

Does anyone have recommendations on how to start socializing here? Are there any groups, events, or places where we can connect with other expats or locals? We’d also love to hear your suggestions for things to do in Istanbul—whether it’s cozy cafés, fascinating markets, day trips, or cultural activities.

We’re excited to explore more and hopefully meet some of you! Thanks in advance for your tips and advice. 😊

Good morning. Amijam. When I decided to move to Turkey from the U. SA, I contacted a lawyer who took care of everything for me at a very. small cost. If you are interested, I can give you his name and Contact information. Although you can do it yourself with a lot of research he will make sure everything is done properly and smoothly.

Go on Facebook and join Kusadasi Expats. Many expats there who have been here for 20 plus years. And they. have  social gatherings.
