Who can help out with the collection of a piano?

That's weird, thought I sent a thank you message on this yesterday!

Big 'THANKS' to Civeng, maser man, JillNDave, and  who graciously volunteer for this removal and helped hubste get the Joanna.  It got here nicely on Friday and the guys were then fattened up with a feeding in reward of efforts. I still owe Civeng a meal as he couldn't stay.

Thanks also to Musicman who checked out a piano tuner for me.

Am very rusty playing as it's been far too long. Have booked a tutor for Thurs to get me back to grade 8 so wish me luck! Only then will the soirée evenings begin :)

No problem happy to help and lunch was good :D

You forgot bluboy, the only injury from the day

Well, am tinkering away on the ivories but the tuning is weird, so will expect much more when I secure a piano tuner?

So that awful sound wasn't your rusty fingers fault when you couldn't stop yourself from the keyboard.:lol::lol::lol:

Mind you, I have warned you about my singing but then again after that remark I'll be off the singalong list. :joking:

That might be his plan - to keep him the centre of attention.

Feeding us little 'confessions'.
It was not a confession merely stating a fact which was in keeping with the party I attended.

Really, you are all a bunch of fish wifes :D
Ok, Maserman, we believe you.
Tissue for your issue Scarlet! Hugzzz I still like you. :)

Well, if you want the true definition of this, here you are:
A fishwife or fish fag is a woman who sells fish. Such women were notoriously loud and foul-mouthed as in the expression, To swear like a fishwife. One reason for their outspokenness is that their wares were highly perishable and so lost value if not sold quickly.
Pinky, can't believe you related me to this, my heart is broken now :sosad::(

Of course I do, :) I am playing with you my friend :D  Checking out the definition was fun though, makes me chuckle to see how sayings are passed down through cultures and times eh!

I've seen fish wives back in Sri Lanka. Oh My God the rhetoric they spit out is venomous.....
