Urgent need of social Life: New exciting and active comer to Riyadh

I'm Ok here as long as I'm discovering the area, culture, living, people, differences....etc I travelled a lot so it's not the worst place to be. I've visited many places over weekends also. Burning 1000 of km on weekends but I need to build smoothly my social life here. I'm not living in the compound. So I don't know if I can acces or not or should I need to be invited?
Didn't have time to go to French Ambassy yet but I'll do. Meanwhile I could'nt find information on activities of expats here yet. any clue ?

Hey,frenchy swimmer?   anyways ,welcome to the Kingdom,moreover welcome to Expat-Blog .I like your enthusiasm ,There arent many people with such zeal.i would hang out with you sometime but first thing first ,like you mentioned you needed to know about the activies , i dont know about many but here are some  if you are interested in bowling then there is a gathering every once or twice a month ,depending on the organiser https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=366070 ,i see you already know this ,but i think it wont be until next 3 to 4 weeks i guess,anyways about the parties ,there are lots of them going on but only in secrecy and in compounds ,which you  are strict invitee only.But dont worry once you make friends ,you will get to know and to meet potential people ,there are get togethers organised by embassies where you can socialise .I think there is Europe month going on this whole month where there are regular exhibitions and get togethers in the european embassies,and importantly everyone is invited so just hang out and visit the DQ. Well these are the only things are currently in my mind .There are other member who would give you better insight about "socializing". Until then enjoy the city.

je suis la depuis un mois, il n' ya que le sport qui fait passer le temps. il y a beaucoup de boulevards, des jardins publiques pour marcher. (essaye d'eviter les endroits ou il ya des familles).

Si tu aime le safari, il ya plein de places a decouvrir dans le desert.
