I am being offered a salary of 6K riyal from a company

My dad had found a match for my younger sister. The guy works in Riyadh. His earnings are 6000 riyals per month. They will stay in 1 BHK nearby the guy's office. I understand that the costs depend on locality. I want to know if any body can help in this regard. Your responses will be deeply appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Well it depends on what your family is looking for in terms of lifestyle... 6000 riyal is not a really high salary and one cannot afford much of luxuries Kingdom has to offer... Rest all depends on ur preference... Best of luck :)

Check if the guy has a family status from his employer.
If no, then his wife will not get medical insurance and it is extra expense if she get sick here as medical care is very costly here.Esp for one whose salary is SR 6k only. One BHK rent will be around SR 1800 to 2000 per month minium. Household expenses SR 2000 per month minimum. Then some other expenses for clothes, cosmetics, telephone, internet, transport etc.

They may  be able to save not more than SR 1000 per month which is not much if soem one is working away from home. Plus thsi saving he may have t o spend on health travel etc. So at the end of the year , no saving at all.

In SR 6K ,life style has to be of less than decent level for an expat married man in Saudi Arabia.
