Which family car to buy?

RaySab

I am looking for a reliable and spacious 4x4 for the family of four. So far Yukon and Tahoe are quite appealing. i would really like to know if these cars are reliable or not? and what other cars would you recommend? i am looking to buy 2008/2009 model. I have read in one of the previous post that Toyota has the best resale value so should i go for the Prado or GMC and Chevrolet are easy to sale as well?

I raised the same question last year. check this out https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=125942

I decided to go with Toyota Prado

I too am a satisfied Prado owner. Easy & cheap maintenance, great resell value (it's cash in hand) and the size keeps thob-wearing Schumacher meters away.

wouldnt buy a chevy tahoe for anything.

for example, most models have a specific shock in the rear that is only available at the dealer, for 500.00 each shock. among other things i have seen in the past, id go prado
