If someone is able to do it, they have some deep connections.

@Trape, Jawazat has recently changed the rules. Dependents presence in KSA for iqama renewal is not a requirement anymore.
Thanks a lot for responding .
@TLL..Do you have any reference from the law, or do know anyone who has done this..
Thanks.
As TLL has mentioned that recently the rules in Jawazat have been updated

TLL is 100% right, Iqama of dependent(s) can be renewed when they are outside KSA, just double check their exit re-entry.
Thanks for your response. Akhi, Are you aware about someone who has done this or do you have any reference from the law ( Jawazat Website).
I'm sorry but iam asking for this becuase many times people have mentioned things on the blog which arent correct. It's important for me as it will have impact on my decision which i will take accordingly.inshaAllah.
Thanks again.
An Indian employee in our company has successfully renewed his family.
I think if iqama cannot be renewed you cant pay the renewal charges.
Thanks .. If its possible can you check with your colleague, if he was able to do it through the normal procedure/legal.
and if he renewed his wife Iqama , how it it impact the Exit/Rentry. becuase Exit-Rentry will be valid till the expiry of Iqama.
Please.

It happened with ME two weeks back @yousf84. My iqama was electronically renewed 45 days ahead of expiry (received SMS from MOI). One of my dependents is out of KSA and is arriving in a few days.
I walked up to my HR and opened it with them. They said that they had received a memo from Jawazat. Iqamas can be renewed but expats has to watch carefully the date of exit re-entry visas of dependents.
I'll check if a copy of that memo could be obtained.
Thanks a lot for the info. If you can get a copy of the memo, please scan and mail. I discussed this issue with my PRO and they told me it's not possible, if i can show him the MEMO , then they can do the work.
I tried many times to issue the re-entry visa for my daughter through MOI Portal from last 2 days but I am always getting the error "AC3705E: OPERATOR DOES NOT HAVE AUTHORITY TO PERFORM FUNCTION".
Her Iqama will expire after 10 months and Passport after 3 years and am trying to get exit-rentry any days between 250 & 300. What shall I do now?

i was of the opinion that exit re-entry can be set till the expiry of Iqama..I have started the new thread for the same topic.. If you get more info ,please let me know.. On your MOI portal , while issuing the exit-entry, you will see 2 options by no of days and by date.. Did you try both of them ?
Thanks
thanks for the kind response, yes i tried both the options but didn't work. are you aware about this error message. I contacted the MOI Helpline they asked me to visit Jawazat, I explained to the representative that i am more than 800 KM away from my city all of my documents are at home and I have to travel with my family on Thursday 24th July 2014 but he was not able to solve this issue.
Please do help me how i can resolve this issue.
Is it the first time you are doing Exit- Reentry online ??
my question is i send back my family on final exit, they have valid iqama right now,
what is the procedure to call back my family again in kingdom
I re-issue same Sponsor as breadwinner
Re-issue of iqama with different sponsor - ie not reissue but iqama transfer.
Now in both cases of course I am the sponsor.
But...
Exit re-entry date expires BEFORE iqama expires...
So how is it possible to - have someone outside the kingdom, and renew....
(only if you renew in last 2 months - which ius allowed.)
Please comment as I really don't see why I must take the kids out of school, and spend money on flight - just to keep iqama.
I want them to keep the iqama so they can visit at any time, or if I make the decision that they come back to school here. (not financially possible at this time)
Irfaan
is it possible to extend exit -reentry or renew iqama 3 months before expiry..?
@shafeek000
1. Yes you can renew Iqama only 3 Months before the date of expiry ( NOT before 3 Months : My HR tried doing online but failed)
2. For the Exit-Rentry, If he/she has already left KSA, thento extend the exit-rentry, you need to provide some letters from your Sponsor + Some other formalities ( which i have heard is a painful process, Alhau Alam) , But you can try contacting agents in your home country and get more information/clarification.
Also i have heard they will give max of 1 Month as a extension for Exit-Rentry. You can get his info double checked.
Hope it helps.
I had the same problem and i had to call my Wife to KSA just to avoid the missing the Exit-Entry Date.
Asalamalykum.
You can renew your Iqama ( so of your dependents) when they are outside the country. Renewal of Iqama will not have any impact on the Exit/Re-entry of your dependents, They need to enter before their Exit-Entry date.
#Just Saying
You seem to playing a risky game by entering a day before the iqama expiry date.. Be careful about the Hijri calander/Flight cancellation-delays. penalty for someone not entering before Exit-Entry expiry is 3 Years ban.
