In order to obtain Iqama you must have a degree?

Numaun

Correct me if I'm wrong but I have heard that you can't obtain Iqama or being resident over there If you don't have a degree.

I do believe you can't change your visa status while you're in the country. I'm on business visa at the moment and HR told me that they might be some way to work out in the future If I want to bring my family over here. Is it true?

Thank you

Attested Degree/diploma requirement depends on visa professions category like below.
Private servant visa
Unskilled visa
Semi skilled visa
Skilled visa
Highly skilled visa

It can be decided only after knowing work visa profession.

Mode of study is also a factor.

For family residency visa there are eligible professions list.
For family visit visa I believe all professions are eligible with exceptions to few excluding private servants category
