recieved an excellent job offer in Jizan

Hi all,

I'm an Irish man that has recieved an excellent job offer in Jizan. I would appreciate if you could offer up your advice on the following:

- My salary excludes the provision of accomodation. Is there any decent camps that I could get into. My potential employer does not have a camp for thier management. I'm not very picky but I don't fancy living in an apartment on my own.

- I'm looking at buying a car. What is the requirements for road insurance / tax & what is the driving situation like.

- I've done a good bit of research into expat life in Jizan and appreciate I will need to make adjustments. Is there many English speaking expats in and around Jazan now?

- appart from scuba diving, is there much to do there at wkend in Jazan? Where would you fly out to get back to no a more normal lifestyle for westerners.

- What us the situation with Yemen. Is part of my high salary offer related to danger money?
