AnjuBKK

Hi,

I am a software professional in India with 8.6 yrs exp and B.Sc Physics and MCA degree.
I am planning to move to Saudi with my husband in family visa.
Can i get some work there? like teaching, software or anything else?
I heard that ladies who go in family visa can't work in Saudi.
Please guide me.

Possible but very rare, most teaching jobs are locally filled by dependent wives and hence you might not see it advertised.

Now - what is the real score with regards to (wives)dependent working in Schools? I could not find (as of now) any relevant circular or news from ministry websites to confirm the news being printed in the papers, like the MOE has given a circular allowing international schools to hire teachers(dependents-visa)as long as qualified, not more than 60 y/o., and that these international schools will be exempt from the jawazat/MOL 'crackdown' after the amnesty...
