Job transfer during probation period

Hariom Halwai

Dear Sir, Recently, I transferred my iqama to a company and am currently serving my 90-day probation period. As per my contract, during the probation period, both parties have the right to terminate the contract. I have now received a new job offer and have resigned from my current job during my probation period, providing a 17-day notice period, which they accepted on the condition that I reimburse them for the transfer expenses they incurred during my job transfer. I have agreed to this and have submitted the required amount. However, after accepting my new job contract on Qiwa, I found myself unable to terminate my current employer's contract on the platform. My current employer received a transfer approval request from Qiwa with a 90-day notice period, which they are not willing to reduce, despite me being in the probation period. Could you please guide me on my rights and the steps I need to take to complete my employment transfer?
