Leaving in your probation period.

GuestPoster30104

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is well and this messege finds you well . I am an expact . I just moved in to KSA. Last Thursday. I currnetly got iqama and I am in the middle on starting everything.Initally i arrived here for 12 months as thats is the lenght of my contract. However , i am on my 90 days probation at the start and then it might be extenede for another 90 days.

The big quesions that I have here its in regards to termination of my contract. I know its too quick to make your mind but I alrady fell really home sick and its really hard for me to adapt to new reality. It has nothing to do with Saudi people as they are great here or nothing to do with work as i like my work too. The only reason is being away from home , i really miss my family ( i am a family man ) and i really struggle to find myself comfortable over here . I just would like to be home.

I want to give my employer a month leaving notice at the 2 month of my probation period , so there will be 1 month until my 90 days probation is over. The question that i have , whats the best way to approache it. ? Does that means I will have to reimbure my empoyer for somethijng ? i dont mind reimbursing my empoyer for the fees like fly tickets , or the iquama or anything else . But the quesion that i have as I read that somewhere that i might be asked to reimburse the wages ? If I am giving notice 1 month before end of my probation , then I am leaving at the end of my probation , can I just pay the fees, request the exit visa and fly home ??

Can anywone give me some support over here or clear that out for me.

Thank you in advance for all the help.
