Is anybody who is pregnant performed x ray at QMc

Hello!im pregnant and have blood samples and x ray was cancelled but they sent me a message to go and reapeat x ray i didn’t do it ? Do a pregnant woman perform that x ray ?? Im worried

Before doing the X-ray Please inform the same to Healthcare unit or the radiology department about your pregnancy.

I am amedical practitioner. My name is Bassam. As long as they have sent you the request, there should be a valid reason to do X ray while pregnant. If you have passed the first trimester, and the X ray is for the chest, you will be provided with a shield cloth. No worries
