Hi Beatrisam,

Do you have any previous experience in doing business in the Middle East ?

Yezinn

Hi,

At present, the policies of Omani government are foreign investment friendly. the rules and regulations for doing business in Oman are much more relaxed and offer lot of incentives for FDI. One of the recent changes that made to encourage foreign investment in Oman is to scrap away the requirement of having a local partner in the company except few business activities i.e. barber shop, tailoring, natural resources ...etc.

Thus, to answer to your query, yes ...presently a foreign investor can establish a company with 100% ownership and do business except few business activities which are reserved for Omanis only. Take precaution before you engage with any online service provider for formation work and do your back ground check accordingly. If you need help, you can contact me in my private message box, I will be happy to provide more info.

Hope it helps!

Cheryl
