Almost every single polyclinic in Muscat is GAMCA approved. Go to the one nearest to you and enquire. Since all the details on the process of GAMCA has been discussed in this forum, kindly do a simple site search and fill yourself with all the details.

For visa processing, I got medical report in Barka,Oman. Badr AL sama hospital.. They have special division for that.. The report seems same as we getting in India by through GAMCA.

What docs.we need for doing medical. Offer letter is enough or some other. Please advice.

Yes. After your arrival and before your registration / resident card issue, there would be another medical test to be done at the government clinic in Muttrah.

Only if the medical test form is signed and sealed by the duty doctor in the government clinic would the resident card be issued.

Can you please tell me.. what tests they will conduct?

They would take a vial of your blood which would be sent for screening.

The lungs would be checked for any fluid retention and for any irregular beatings of the heart.

Besides, a cursory scan would be done on your body to notice any physical abnormality, including for hydrocele (for which you obviously have to drop your pants and cough !)

I am a new member here , on visit visa just wanted to enquire that I undergone by Heart Value replacement surgery in 2013 in a Medanta Gurgaon . At present I don’t have any issues my blood reports are normal and test done by authorised hospital in Oman . In the test done since they asked about any health issue I told them clearly that I under gone by heart surgery so in special comments doctor written about history of heart surgery .
My question is should I submit that report to ministry with my discharge summary and latest report of my Echo with my Omani Sponcer , he has no issues with that and said I will attach my letter . I am worrying that would I get fitness from ministry .

You should not do anything directly, with any Ministry by yourself.

Every official communication and requirement needs to be routed only through the company PRO / sponsors (who would be Omanis).

So, regarding your query, please ask your employer what needs to be done in your case and they will guide you accordingly.

Yesterday I went Darsait with My Omani they asked me to get fitness certificate from cardiologist i got that done and than they have found me fit for work so medical done now . For any patient who has got operated in past should get fitness certificate from Doctor and than they approve

Would appreciate if anyone reply or advise are the medical rules for resident card in Muscat similar to UAE. Since in UAE  medicals related to Hep - B are done only for special six categories like maids, foodhandlers , barbers etc.  If on Software engineer role a person with Hep- B can he/she get resident card in oman? Please help any advise is appreciated.

Please, I have some brothers who will be coming to Oman from Nigeria. They have their medicals ready from Nigeria. Do I need to take their medical result for approval here in Oman before they can be issued a visa?
