Regarding visa transfer and change of job

syedasifalishah

Hi guys how r u

I have a question that i am an expat staying in oman who is working as a store keeper in a cold store. Since my this years of work i have completed my graduation as an engineer by distance education process. So is there any possibility for me to find a job in an engineering division and can i transfer my visa from store keeper to an engineer if a job is available for me.
And all the above do this process require NOC.

Another Question,

can i change my job if any company is offering me a visa after completion of my 2 years in oman or do i require NOC certificate to change my job after 2 years.

Thank you guys

Waiting for you reply

Hi syedasifalishah,

The best option would be for you to see if there is any suitable opening available for you in your existing company. If yes, then there would be no issues. All transfers can be done internally.

Else, getting a new job would be your first major hassle. Second and more important would be to make your last employer give you an NOC.

Well, for pretty much anything these days you would need your last employers NOC.
