The optimist only becomes an optimist if he gambles and takes a risk on the fact that the wind will change. If he expected it to change, but still didnt do a thing about it, it still makes him a pessimist. Doesnt it?? :unsure

Not considering the general shifts in the day to day thought process, I think most of us start of as either as an Optimist / Pessimist.... Once we have had a taste of life and as responsibilities start to increase, we become more - or - less realists....
