Hello Folks!!!

Hope everybody is fine. I am looking for some information about special events in Kuwait such as national sport seasons, festivities, and holidays in general celebrated in Kuwait. I am making a calendar with the most interesting days to visit this country.

February is the shopping month and the month which holds the independence and liberation days (25 & 26), those are the only two Kuwaiti public holidays, the rest are the usual muslim holidays such as the islamic new year, birth of the prophet, eid al fitr, eid al adha etc.

this year there were no public holidays from march till may, one day in june, nothing in july, eid in august, nothing in september, eid in october, one day in november and then new years in december.

email me in january 2013 and i will give u a list of all the holidays in the gulf region - benefits of working in a company owned by the gulf states is that the calendars they provide us have every holiday of every gulf state.
