Discrepancy in offer letter and contract

GuestPoster10010

Hello all

I have received offer letter (already signed) and employment contract from a company in Bahrain. There are few discrepancies between both.

#1: termination: offer letter - 2 years , can be terminated by giving 30 days notice

Contract - only 2 years is mentioned, nothing related to termination or notice

Incase of leaving job before 2 years, what will be notice period and do I need to pay any amount to employer?

#2: wages: offer letter - both fixed and variable components are mentioned.

Contract - just the fixed part

Since contract is legally binding, it means i will be entitled to fixed part for entire contract term?

Please guide thanks

Contact is as per labor law and it is standard.  And what you wrote is pretty typical.

Thank you for the response. I read the post.

Can you confirm if termination/ notice period details are not provided on employment contract , we can give notice of 30 days as per law ?
