Assalamualaikum / Hi everyone,

Hope you all are in good health.

I have planned to visit Bahrain next week insh Allah, and yet my visa has not been approved.
I am a Pakistani national living in London, England for the last 12 years. I applied for an evisa on 22nd July which was refused after 2 weeks for no reason what so ever, or at least not mentioned by them.

I re applied again on Saturday and I am trying to get in touch with them and all the numbers I have gathered from their websites, I have had no response at all.

I had attached the following :
Passport

UK Residence permit

Previous GCC visas and stamps (including Bahrain)

Stamped bank statements

FULLY PAID flight return ticket to and from Bahrain

Brother in law's CPR (I will be staying with him)

Sister’s CPR (I will be staying with her)

Previous Schengen Visas

Payslips

Does anyone have a number I can call on and they would pick up ? My flight is Monday afternoon from London so I need to know what is going on.

Look, I have said this on many many threads - the evisa, for some nationalities and genders is a waste of time to apply for as the only visa they can potentially get is a "sponsored" one (company, tour operator, hotel, airlines etc act as sponsors and who guarantee their departure). An evisa is unsponsored and in above such cases, is rejected.

There is no point in contacting them. They will never tell you the reason for the refusal and will always say "administrative reasons". If it was a document issue, they would have told you. The contact details are on the evisa site. And good luck with the phone - no one bothers to pick up. To improve your luck, try to call between 8 am to 10 am Bahrain time.

Lastly, nowadays there is an "unofficial" ban on new visit and work visas for Pakistani's as a result of security concerns. So your rejection could be due to that reason as well.

Your only option now is to apply for a sponsored visa. Your brother in law's company can get one for you - if the Pakistan visa ban is resolved.
