Postage System

Hi all,

I am wanting to get stuff delivered to my apartment in Al Qurayya and I am unsure of the procedure that stuff is delivered in Bahrain, can anyone advise?

Is there like a central hub that I go to collect my item or is it taken to my doorstep?
What happens if it is not delivered is there somewhere I can go or call to collect?
I am expecting letters and am worried that I will not get them.

Thank you in advance for anyone who spends the time to inform me :)

Hi,

if you have a post box then it goes there, else it gets delivered to your home address. I have few local bills that gets mailed home without any issues, but my personal mails come to my office post box.

bear in mind that if you rely on it being delivered to your home address that it might not appear for weeks at a time. Ours seems to arrive in batches every two weeks.
Ok thanks for your experiences. :) Hopefully will eventually arrive, if anything is sent from the UK how long does it typically take to arrive in Bahrain?
anywhere from two weeks to a month.
I will second that.  Last week (late Feb) I received a card that was mailed December 12th on the same day I received a letter which was just mailed the week before.  Both from the same place.
Need help with immigration or administrative procedures in Bahrain?
Get in touch with an immigration agency
That's probably the letter that we're waiting for...
