Driving horrors in Bahrain

Hi All

Not sure if you have seen this facebook page but please take a look.

Would be nice if comments were made here on the forum for all to see as well as on the facebook page.

Personally I think it's a great initiative but I doubt the so called traffic police will do a thing about it.

Although I like the idea, I'd much prefer the police do the job of being a police and public do the job of being public and educate their friends and families. Publicly humiliating someone (whether right or wrong) is not something to be proud of.
Well we all know the police here don't do their job. I think the page may help to rectify this as it is being published in all the newspapers etc.

There is a lot of drunken driving going on, Texting while driving, driving without seatbelts with kids jumping around and not enough police to sort this mess out.

Hopefully the page will help
I saw the artice in today's GDN about this FB group. Joined it right away. :)

I joined mainly to check if my vehicle's picture was on it :shy

I joined straight away too. No pics of me yet thankfully.

I think it's a great idea as long as you have a passenger. Taking pics whilst driving only makes you as bad as them

I suppose taking pics when whiling time away at a traffic signal is alright, but shooting full length epics is down right dangerous. Unless a dashboard camera is installed.

Now that I know this group of vigilantes exists, I am going to start behaving on the road :gloria
You have always behaved!! Or so you led me to believe :/:D

Great letter in today's Gulf Daily News
Yes, Jo ... Saw it and felt the same way. Hopefully the authorities will begin to take notice of the group in FB.
