Best Places to Visit in Bahrain During Ramadan

Hello Expat-Bloggers,

When I moved to Bahrain last year, it was right before Ramadan and back then, I was not socialising as much as I am now - therefore I wasn't aware of many places to go during Ramadan.

This year, Ramadan is going to start in about 10 days and I would like to know your favourite places to visit in Bahrain during Ramadan - from food to shopping to entertainment. What are the best places to have Iftar? Are there any cultural events that happen during Ramadan?

I am really looking forward to hearing the experiences of seasoned expats in Bahrain.

Not sure if cofee shops in Adliya will be open after 6 though.

I know all coffee shops in Adliya are open after 6.bpwople usually go to these cafes to play card games and smoke Shisha.

But the question is, which ones are the best places to visit in Bahrain and why.

Best place in Ramadan for me is Alamda coffee shop , it's is near al marina club in Manama . Near the sea with Shiasha and cocktail.

Have walked past that one and wondered....is it very "male" or are female's welcome too?

Usually Shisha places are occupied by males. Actually, a Bahraini friend of mine (female) thinks this is a gap in the market and she wanted to open up the first female only shisha place in Bahrain. I'm sure she could do well wit that business.

I like The Dilmun Club, The Country Club, LPOD and Al Dar

Opening times are later than normal for LPOD and Al Dar but that means that you are out of the extreme heat too.
