Did you feel the effects of the earthquake in Iran?

Did you feel the effects of this afternoon's earthy quake that struck Iran. A lot of the high rise office buildings were evacuated here in Manama, Bahrain. This happened last week too and measured 6.3 but today's one was felt more and lasted for a while, it measured, 7.8 !

Hope this didn't affect anyone and that your workplace took necessary measures to ensure your safe.

Didn't feel anything with either earthquake - we live in Saar.
Glad to hear you didn't feel the aftershocks Jo. Possibly your side wasn't affected..
May be the North part of Bahrain felt the after effects more..

Apparently I heard Al Moayed tower suffered broken glass. some reports have mentioned certain work buildings have suffered damage..

We are North of Bahrain :-)

Earthquakes happen all the time and I'm sure we will have a few more so hopefully companies in high rise buildings are taking the relevant steps to help their employee's get to safety
On my way home - i was surprised to see work men still on high rise building sites carrying on working...

We also felt nothing in Janabiya.  I am more surprised at the fuss made on certain facebook pages this morning about the fact that it actually rained for about an hour last night - really really - it was rain!
Depends on who made the fuss about the rain. I work with people here who hardly see rain and get excited and actually like it. On the other hand i used to see alot of rain in the uk, till i came here :D so i dont miss the rain one bit...
It's been raining on and off for the last few days but it's actually dirt more than rain. Cars are all dirty and this is more disturbing than the fact it almost never rains here.
the car washers will be kept busy - :D
Definitely. Well, I admire most of them, cleaning cars outside at 50 degrees is not something everyone can do.
