No given Name, only surname and father name on my passport

bulanbuland8

Hey guys, I have a Pakistani passport and the first page has this information.

Surname: Omar

Given Name: (empty)

Father Name: Umair Khaliq

Will this cause issue in LMRA or Immigration for new work permit?

Hey, thanks for the reply. But that post isn't relevant to me, I already have my old CPR and its number, and I am coming to Bahrain once again from my native country. The LMRA website mentions that the first page of the passport should have the First Name and the Father name, I fulfill that criteria, however, I am confused because my passport first page has information something like this

Surname: Omar

Given Name: (empty)

Father Name: Umair Khaliq

Technically, I fulfill the criteria but I am confused about the empty given name.

All I can say is that rules keep changing, so try your luck! Apply for a visa, and if it gets approved, that's great for you! but remember If it gets rejected no one will give you a reason why.

Good luck!

Just add a given name at some point to avoid issues.

Just an update guys, this is the same person, so my visa was rejected based on this issue and I had to use connections within ministry to clear my name, as my issue was not a security related issue (they are difficult to bypass) so anyways I came and now I am out of gulf and in a Western country, Alhamdulilah. So yeah, if you have a single name, do not both applying if you don't have connections within ministry. Or update your name.
