Finding an apartment for a young couple

No place is perfect so goes the same for Sweden. There are always positive and negative things. The housing situation is like that for a reason which perhaps not so easy to understand. So yes it's very difficult to find a first hand contract.
1. No such waiting thing for second. Depends on how long you are willing to search & what are your priorities.
2. You could find the ads on several websites like blocket.
3. Should be the responsibility of the actual owner. But depends, usually you'll be giving a deposit.
4. Yes of course it'll be costly. Depends on the guy who has the first hand contract, how much he thinks it's worth. Some people will ask a bit more and some people will ask quite much. Depends on the apartment, location and facilities etc. In the end depends on how much you are comfortable with as well.
5. Again depends on you and the guy who has the apartment. Many people rent it out for long term as well.

Would be any real estate agent or anyone with legal authority during the process of second hand contracts? What I am trying to ask is, would a second hand contract be a legal and concrete process?

Second hand contract is as such not completely legal, only in few cases people have permission to sublet it. That's  also one reason the owner would want to push you out in few months. The apartment is rented to a person in first hand to live not to make money. There are usually no agents and mostly it's a direct contact. But wherever you decide to move in, there is a simple one page contract that both parties should sign.
There are some companies that do this kind of renting furnished apartment business also. They charge higher rent but give you receipts etc as well.

I'd like to know about the companies you have mentioned. They look interesting!
Would you mind giving me the names of some of them? It would be very useful.
And about the paper that we sign in second hand. Can you share some pictures of them for me?

How do we find out if the one who is renting the apartment is the real landlord?
Imagine that someone as the second tenant rented the house again! What would happen? I think it is totally illegal!
Do we need to check his first hand contract to find out if he is the main landlord?

It's possible but highly unlikely. When you start living you'll understand why.
But ask the person you are dealing with for any proof if have doubts.
Easy clue, look at the name on the door.
