What is the cost of renting or buying an apartment or house in Sweden?

Depnding on city, area and aprtment size. But living in southern region Skane county cost of living in an apartment for 3 bedroom 90 sqaure meter will be around 14 to 17 thousand SEK per month and 1 or 2 bedroom could cost somewhere from 5 to 10 thousand SEK per month. Mostly heating is included in the rent.

In Skane region, transportation for buses or trains can be cheaper if buy monthly cards or 10 flexible tickets monthly based on your commuting needs it could cost from 1000 to 1500 SEK per month. How much does health insurance cost? What is the price of a medical consultation in Sweden?

To be honest health insurance is not required, it is mostly covered by government. You probably need to expense 2500 SEK per year on your own for clinical visits, medicines and anything above that will be supported by government so clinics and medicines will almost become free if your expenditure have gone more than 2500 annually. That is my personal experience as a diabetic patient who requires normal and scheduled visits to clinics and take medication regularly.

What are the tuition fees for children?

Tuition fees for international primary and secondry schools and universties are almost free if you are legal resident. May be there is a fees for pre-schools or young children around 1500 per month as an average in Skane county in southern sweden.

Why would you buy a car if you only use a taxi a couple of tiimes a month and don't need a car. That whould be a waste of money - you have to weigh up the costs, price of the car, insurance, petrol etc...
