Houston Consulate

ABQAce

Hello All-

Does anyone have any experience with the Spanish Consulate in Houston? Since I live in New Mexico, the consulate in Houston will be handling my visa application but I don’t recall seeing anything about them in any of the Spain expat groups I follow. Does anyone out there know whether they’re difficult to get an appointment with or if they turn applications around quickly or slowly? Thanks in advance.

It's mostly been outsourced to BLS. Have a look here:

We went through Houston but it was three years ago. I wish I could help. As mentioned, the process has been outsourced since we applied for NLVs. Good luck, it's beautiful over here!

Oh, I've seen a lot of talk about applying for the digital nomad visa from Spain. That was definitely NOT an option for the NLV for us.
