Passport expiry

TinaChico

Hello all,

My daughter's passport will run out in July 2023 and we have applied for an NLV for her. We went to the Spanish  consulate in London for the appointment  in Nov 2022. They didn't say anything at the time but now I am worried if it will affect the outcome?

We haven't heard anything for the past month.

Do I apply for a new passport for her or am i worrying about nothing?

Help please!

Thanks for your reply. I just didnt want it to hold up my daughter's application. I think you have to send the old passport when you apply for the new one?

Great news, just received an email from the consulate saying our NLVs have been approved. So now I have one month to go to the consulate with my Daughter's Passport which is about to expire in July 2023.

Will the consulate accept this?

The consulate obviously have known about the expiry date since Nov 2022 when we took all of the documents there and they haven't said anything

They should accept it, best check with them first.
