I want to meet new people!

Hello, as I said about me on my profile, I moved to Scotland 5 months ago and right now many of my friends had returned to their countries.

I am interested meet people and go out, cinema, have a coffee..

I'm 24 years but I think it isn't so important.

Thank you!!! :)
Hi Liz,

Here's a few suggestions for things to do in Livingston which should get you meeting new people:

1. West Lothian College. You can do all kinds of evening and part-time courses which are reasonably affordable.

2. The Howden Park Centre offers all sorts of courses. You can learn everything from Tai Chi and Yoga to Belly Dancing and Salsa!

3. If you're into photography there is Livingston Camera Club which caters for all levels.

4.If you like Badminton there is Livingston Badminton Club which welcomes beginners.

5. If you've ever fancied playing hockey then the Livingston and West Lothian Hockey Club is always looking for new members.

6. If you like climbing the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena near Ratho might be worth considering.

7. If you've thought about doing some voluntary work have a look at the West Lothian Voluntary Sector Gateway website.

I hope this helps.

All the best,

David
