Residence Visa Request - Paying a Lawyer for it???

Hello,
I am currently living in Costa Rica and I am planning to move back to Romania.
My husband is Costa Rican - we have been married for more than 4 years and the marriage was declared in Romania.
I have been investigating about the Residence Request Process and I wonder if is worth to pay a lawyer to do all the work ?
Is the process straight forward or I better pay a lawyer to save ourselves the hassle?

Save yourself the hassle, Elena. Most lawyers get this done for around 500 euros - let them do the paper chasing.
