American Thanksgiving in Transylvania

Hi everyone!

We're considering doing an American Thanksgiving weekend at our boutique hotel/restaurant in Călugăreni, Mures. We'd do a traditional thanksgiving dinner on both the Thursday and Saturday (even Friday if there's demand or maybe a smoker BBQ). We'd also have an American band playing and partying on Saturday night. Of course, all of this subject to COVID rules at the time. Our hotel is apartment oriented, so better for groups but we can have shuttles to nearby Sovata to take care of private accommodation. Note that we're Americans so will be trying to be as traditional as ingredient availability allows.

What does the group think? Would there be an appetite for such an event?

Hi Bela,

You could try posting in 'Expats in Romania' too on FB to catch a wider audience for your dinners.
