Copy Of Father's Birth Certificate

Hi,

Has anyone ever tried obtaining a copy of parent's Romanian birth certificate from the UK?

I have been to the Consulate in UK and they say it could take minimum 3 months. Has anyone ever done this if so what was the time scale?

When they say 3 months they mean it could take up to 3 months. They have to do some research, locate it and then post it to the UK, all this takes time. But you could be lucky and they are quick.
