NIF for Portugal

I heard that for Non EU citizen, you will need a Portuguese national or a lawyer to represent you, as representative for any future contact info with the Service Financas.

May I ask if there is anyone who can recommend a fiscal representative or an affordable lawyer, who can help me get the foreigner NIF? Thank you.

Im planning to travel january 2021, when this covid issue is a little more resolved.

If you have a problem let me know. We were directed to a very good attorney in Coimbra who handled the process for both my wife and I very efficiently. We took care of everything with him via email and hey set up the appointment for us with a notary here in Albuferia where we are currently staying.
