A good start might be to tell a bit about yourself, so people know what you're about Of all the places to find friends, why did you chose Expat.com.
Hopefully, there will be some more original and thoughtful responses than "hi", "hey" and "whats up". Really people, are those responses are supposed to grab someone's attention and inspire a desire to establish friendship?
