__________

People 75 and older who have already had their 2nd dose at least 180 days ago can go to any vaccination centre, without the need for any previous appointment, to be vaccinated with a 3rd dose of Covid.

Hi jonny, Thanks so much for this but sadly the appointment system is impossible to get into. 1st it says you must enable java script (complicated for most people) but i went through all the process and enabled it BUT it still wont recognise that it is enabled, i think they are using an outdated version the other end... Interested to know if ANYONE has been able to make an appointment?

I have tried on my laptop, an Iphone and an adroid phone, all on different operating systems but all the same. Can we just make an appointment from the SNS24 app? seems that option doesnt exist
Hi I tried to make an appointment for my other half this morning but it just kept coming up with error so thought I’d leave it a couple of days & try again on Monday.
And thanks JohnnyPT for the info much appreciated
Jean
It's probably a momentary problem, but it's weird indeed ... please try again in a few hours.

@ Bradshawhal, this link is from the NHS. To do Covid vaccine scheduling probably you can try SNS app, but I am not sure of it.
Thanks Jonny for your tremendous contribution to this site. I will try again tomorrow
Thanks so much
Is this already working?  :/
Hi johnnyPT
I tried again today same message came up as in error so not sure what is going on with the site
Jean
What kind of error? Can you write here the complete error message? Preferably in Portuguese, as it appears when you are scheduling the vaccine. On the French forum, some people have already done it and successfully.
Hi JohnnyPT
This is what the message says
O Correa um erro. Verifique se os dados que introduziu estao corretos
I tried again this morning same message so think we are going to got to  the vaccine centre try see what they say & will let you know.
Jean
It is saying that the data you are filling in is not right. Are you sure the SNS number you are filling in is OK?

The error is not technical, but from validation of data input.
Yes the data I have inputted is correct I have double checked, triple checked & it still comes up with the same message
Hi JohnnyPt
Sat & mulled it over then decided to put surname in first then first name then middle name it worked, so yes a data error, but as so used to putting first name then middle name then surname in, in that order it just took looking at the paperwork from the medical centre to see which way they had his name copied it & bingo he has an appointment.

Hello everyone,

I got my 3 COVID-19 doses done,
I'd like to know if a antigenic test sufficient or I still need a PCR to enter this week to Portugal.

Thanks for your advices.
From December 1st:

Mandatory negative test for all flights arriving in Portugal, even for those who have a digital vaccination certificate, regardless of the point of origin of the flight or the passenger's nationality.

This measure applies to air, land, sea and river borders.

Any new information on the FLU Covid shots for 2022?

The booking process for the covid + flu vaccination, as part of the autumn-winter 2022 vaccination campaign, began on September 7 for people aged 80 and over. Now, vaccination is being scheduled for people aged 70-79 years until the end of the first week of November.

Then, users above the age of 60 will be called starting from the second week of November.

All this process is automatically made with SMS sending to NHS users.

@WHancock,

Are you registered at the NHS? If not, go to a vaccination centre near where you live and find out more about it, since you belong to the age group that is now being vaccinated.

@JohnnyPT

Exactamente. I was at the vaccination centre in Portimão last week, and he told me I will receive a call or SMS to go for my next shot. As I am only 61, was not yet eligible.

@JohnnyPT  How do you register for NHS services? We  have our short term VISA but do not have the D7 appt until June.

You should go to a local NHS health centre (centro de saúde) or a covid vaccination centre and find out about your situation. You can get the flu vaccine at a pharmacy, the covid vaccine is only available at NHS vaccination centres.

I think you can only register with the NHS after you have been given residence authorisation.
