Hello, I am Filip, 33 years old from Croatia.

We are currently thinking about moving to live abroad and Netherlands is one of the countries that we would consider.

We've got a family of 5 (wife, myself, a 7 yo daughter and 3 yo twin boys).

We would be moving only under condition that we can at least keep our current living standard at the beginning of our new life.

I tried looking at different aspects of living costs and income in the Netherlands, but it is very overwhelming, so I think I will be opening a thread soon to get some help with that and with other policies.

I have been to Amsterdam and Roermond before, tourist trip to Amsterdam once, business to Amsterdam once and twice on business in Roermond. Amsterdam is great, but I fell in love with Roermond so I believe we would be happier in smaller towns, at least translating our current living experience in Croatia.
