Life in Netherlands enschede... Planning to move and settle from india

To answer your questions.  I know Enschede very well; my wife's family are from there, we lived there, our kids went to school there.

1.  Yes, if you plan to settle, then I would encourage your family to integrate with the local community, you will find it very different to India.

2.  I don't understand this question.  Of all the words I would use to describe the population in the Netherlands, "very less" would not be one of them.  The region of Holland which contains Enschede is less populated than other parts of Holland because it is a big farming region.

3.  The Numbeo website offers information related to costs; this link will take you straight to data for Enschede, comparing it with Deventer, another town in the region.

4.  It's not good anywhere in the EU right now.  At the moment you would not be allowed to enter the country, although this is reviewed as and when information is updated.

5.  You will be assessed for taxes in the Netherlands on your worldwide income.  Dutch taxes are high, with great emphasis placed on social taxes; the tax foundation has issued a table/map showing the rates across Europe; this link will take you straight there.

6.  The Dutch operate a regional healthcare system, Enschede is the home of MST, one of the major hospitals in the region.  My wife worked there as a nurse and rates it very highly.  Healthcare insurance is compulsory from the day you arrive in the country; the Dutch Government have a website with the details; this link will take you straight there.  At the bottom of that page is a further link that will take you to a Q&A on the subject.

Schools are public and it is compulsory to send your children to school in the Netherlands, you may not teach at home.  Our children all went to school there and they have thrived.  There is a local University (University of Twente) which is situated on the outskirts of the town in the direction of Hengelo.

7.  There are many web sources that will give you live information.  The Numbeo site provides cost data based on historical data; there are also web-based company that advertise information, one of which is Pararius; this link will take you straight to their current website.

To add, it has excellent public transport with a local bus service, plus connections across the border into Germany.  The train service operates across the country and offers direct services to Schiphol Airport.  Local bicycle paths are virtually everywhere, most people use them to get around.
