I will be spending about a week in Crete and plan to pick up a car at Heraklion Airport. I want to make the most of the island during my stay, so I’m thinking of exploring both coastal areas and inland villages. It would be great to know which rental options at the airport are straightforward and reliable. You need a physical driving license in Europe to rent a car, they do not accept digital ones.
