Covid, flu vaccines available also at pharmacies

Don’t want to discuss the science behind or argue with anti-vaxxers but the seasonal flu and/or Covid vaccines are available. Neither is mandated but as one over 65 and having asthma I was happy to recently get mine. I got both at the same time in each arm. It is actually recommended to do it this way and saves time and effort to do it all at once. The flu is updated, the Covid is the same formula as last year but as the effect seems to wear off, worth considering.

Rather than having to go to one’s doctor, both are available in certain pharmacies, no perscription or cost involved if one has German insurance as required for all residents. Usually one has to go to a doctor or get a perscription for most vaccinations. Few doctors and only select pharmacies actually offer the Covid since the cooling, storage and preperation is more complex than most.

I made my appointment online, first one available was not for about 6 weeks but they mentioned that slots open up on short notice and a day later I was able to get an appointment for the next day. One has to fill out forms for each about conscent and basic health history as any vaccination can have possible conflicts according to one’s condition. The whole process took about 10 minutes but I had already filled out the forms, available online and had almost no questions having gotten my vaccinations yearly. But they readily encouraged to ask any questions one might have.
