check out the Musee Du Carnavalet, it's free and while you're there you can pick up the other brochures for places you can visit gratis.

However above all I would recommend wandering, and not just in the center either. Check out the 18th and the 12 and just meander about grabbing the odd coffee here and there. The nicest way to see Paris in my view.

You definitely should visit the Catacombes, if you aren't claustrophobic that is! And a little walk along the Canal St Martin. Have a great time here in Paris!

For places to visit outside Paris: I lived in Aix en Provence for 3 years, and the area is just beautiful. So many nice places you can visit. You can just rent a car and make nice day trips around Provence.

It is really very nice advices

But is there a tourist agency that I can contact to arrange for a tour inside France
As I would prefer to be withen a tourist group besides I think it is going to be cheaper
